"Badass Babe Workbook" Book Signing and Workshop

March 9, 2018 - 6:00pm

Calling all badasses, babes, and everyone in between! Artist and author of the "Badass Babe Workbook", Julie Van Grol, will be at Boneshaker Books on March 9 from 6-8 p.m. for a Q&A, booksigning, and empowering art mini-workshop. "Badass Babe Workbook" highlights the accomplishments and messages of over 100 badass babes throughout history by using prompts, art activities, and writing exercises that will encourage you to unearth, fuel, and cultivate your own inner superpowers, unleash your creativity, and find your voice.

And to support one of our favorite badass book organizations, this event will also be a book donation drive for the Women’s Prison Book Project. Please bring one or more paperback books in good condition! WPBP is especially in need of GED, basic math/Algebra, craft books (not patterns), dictionaries, fiction and non-fiction by African-American writers, contemporary books in Spanish, true crime books, vampires books, women's health, self-help books, and books on recovery from chemical dependency. All those who bring a book to donate can enter to win a Badass Babe tote bag, to be given away at the event.
