Science Book Club - CANCELLED FOR DECEMBER

August 4, 2018 - 11:00am

THE BONESHAKER SCIENCE BOOK CLUB IS CANCELLED FOR DECEMBER, AND WILL RESUME ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 5, 2019! Joel will be out of town for a late-Thanksgiving/early-December-holiday weekend with his in-laws.

The Boneshaker Science Book Club is free and open to the public. We meet the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., unless we don't, so please check the calendar in case a fast one has been pulled. The books we read will be science-related, but hopefully accessible to those without an academic background in science. We seek to select titles that are in line with Boneshaker's mission of social justice.

The selection for January will be "Reason for Hope" by Jane Goodall. We're keeping with the primatologist-memoir theme from last month, and hopefully this one will be as good as "A Primate's Memoir." The book will be in stock at the store soon.

Note from host: I'll bring coffee to share!
